WAREHOUSE WORKER/FORKLIFT DRIVER

OBJECTIVE:

Responsible for filling customer orders from the warehouse stock, stacking cases on a pallet, and then safely operating a forklift to place the pallet on the truck for delivery. Support warehouse functions in a safe, accurate, efficient, and effective manner, including but not limited to: selection, loading, receiving, replenishment, and returns. Responsible for the safe and effective operation and pre-trip inspection of forklifts, as well as adherence to all Safety policies and procedures. Develop and maintain solid interdepartmental relationships, including effective and consistent communication.

This position is a full-time, Monday through Friday, position with the possibility of an occasional weekend. Extended hours may be required as service needs dictate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Able to assemble customer orders on pallet ensuring accuracy and quality of orders while meeting Capital City's standards for productivity; Able to operate forklift or similar warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner; Able to obtain and maintain a forklift certification; Ensure proper rotation and product quality in the warehouse; Able to communicate effectively with supervisors; Able to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team; Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, and practice ethical conduct; Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area; Promotes and observes safety and security procedures; Able to use equipment and materials properly; Able to regularly lift or carry up to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift full kegs, which weigh up to 170 lbs.; Able to regularly bend, reach, stoop, and walk throughout warehouse; Able to operate an iPad; Must be at least 18 years of age.

PREFERRED:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Experienced in the operation of a forklift, warehouse environment preferred; One (1) year of previous warehouse experience desired.

ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE

OBJECTIVE:

To continually build our business in terms of market share, sales volume, distribution, and profitability within a specific sales territory. To continually seek out new business opportunities and develop the salesmanship and expertise for building brands through displays, shelf and cold box management, pricing, on and off premise point of sale merchandising, on premise promotions/features, and on premise package/draft share dominance. To develop outstanding internal and external customer relationships and provide the “best in class” customer service level in the marketplace.

This position is a full-time, Monday through Friday position. There may be the expectation to work special night time promotions and possible weekends. Extended hours may be required as service needs dictate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently with little or no supervision; Highly professional, with the ability to interface well with internal and external contacts; Able to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team; Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, and practice ethical conduct; Excellent customer relations skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; Able to operate an iPad; Promote and observe safety and security procedures; Able to use equipment and materials properly; Repeated bending, walking, standing, twisting, and turning; Able to regularly lift or carry up to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift full kegs, which weigh up to 170 lbs.; Must be at least 21 years of age; Valid Mississippi driver’s license and acceptable driving record; Undergraduate college degree or acceptable position-related experience level; Minimum of one (1) year of sales experience.

DRAFT TECHNICIAN

OBJECTIVE:

To continually build Capital City Beverages business in terms of market share, sales, volumes, distribution, revenues through proper cleaning, installation, and maintenance of all Capital City's draft lines and equipment at retail and in house. Manage inventory, rotate out-of-date product, handle customer needs, and resolve problems. Provides a high level of customer service by presenting a professional appearance and attitude at all times.

Position is a full-time, Monday through Friday, position with extended hours as service needs dictate. This position is required to work most holidays with the possibility of an occasional weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Able to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team; The successful candidate must be clean and neat in appearance, and possess strong communication skills; Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, and practice ethical conduct; Must be able to meet several deadlines in a timely matter, while maintaining a clean work environment; Commitment to safety program promoting and observing safety and security procedures and using equipment and materials properly; Promotes and observes safety and security procedures; Able to use equipment and materials properly; While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, arms and fingers, bend, kneel, walk and drive a company vehicle to service accounts; Able to regularly lift or carry up to 170 lbs.; Able to effectively maneuver a dolly; Able to operate an iPad; Must be at least 21 years of age; Able to maintain an acceptable driving record and valid Mississippi driver’s license; High school diploma or equivalent.

DELIVERY DRIVER

OBJECTIVE:

Deliver, organize, and rotate product and collect required payment while providing a “best in class” customer service level and developing outstanding customer relationships in assigned market. Complete proper paperwork for each account and reconcile at the end of each day. Responsible for the daily pre-trip inspection of vehicle, as well as adherence to all safety policies and procedures. Develop and maintain solid interdepartmental relationships, including effective and consistent communication. Responsible for supervising the Assistant assigned to the route.

The position is a full-time, Monday through Friday, position with extended hours as service needs dictate. Position is required to work most holidays with the possibility of an occasional weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have ability to maintain clear driving record and Class “A” CDL; Able to maintain a valid medical certificate in accordance with MCSR regulations 49 CFR 391.41 - 391.49; Highly professional, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail, and able to accurately attend to details and spot errors when reviewing load sheets and completing paperwork; Able to display a high energy level and demonstrate ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment both individually and as part of a team; Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic and practice ethical conduct; Able to perform basic math skills, including adding and subtracting numbers; Able to operate an iPad; Observe safety and security procedures; Able to use equipment and materials properly; Able to reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, walk and occasionally climb when unloading trucks for delivery; Able to regularly lift or carry up to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift full kegs, which weigh up to 170 lbs.; Must be able to repeatedly lift, push, pull or carry product and maneuver a dolly effectively. High school diploma or equivalent; Must be at least 21 years of age.

PREFERRED:

Minimum of one (1) year CDL driving experience.

MERCHANDISER

OBJECTIVE:

Restocks shelves, coolers, displays end caps, and other areas of the store. Maintains proper rotation of current stock to ensure product freshness. Merchandises shelves and displays with signage, POS display items, and pricing. Confers with Capital City's Account Representative to resolve customer problems and discuss competitive market activity. Maintains product knowledge of all brands and packages that Capital City carries. Performs any additional duties and special tasks assigned by Sales Management.

This position is a full-time position with a varied five day workweek, and is required to work weekends and most holidays. Start time for Merchandisers can be as early as 5:00 in the morning depending on the route and store requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent attention to detail and correctness of work; Strong commitment to tasks being completed on time; Excellent customer relations skills; While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, move and climb in high, low and tight areas to merchandise shelves, coolers, and stock displays; Observe safety and security procedures; Able to use equipment and materials properly; Able to regularly lift and carry up to 40 lbs.; Able to push/pull heavy loads; Able to maneuver a dolly effectively; Able to operate an iPad; Must be at least 18 years of age (21 years of age preferred); Valid Mississippi driver’s license and acceptable driving record; High school diploma or equivalent.

PREFERRED:

Minimum of one (1) year of merchandising experience in Direct Store Delivery industry; Consumer product industry sales experience; Undergraduate college degree or acceptable position-related experience level.
